The Ups and Downs of Feelings boardgame is a new game available to help children talk about their feelings.
Starting at Go follow the spiral path to the sun! If you land on a positive feeling face, describe a time you felt that feeling and follow the arrow up a level. When you land on a negative feeling face, follow the arrow down. When you talk about a time you felt that feeling and then do one of the 4 correction techniques listed on the back, you follow the arrow back up to the face where you started. The 4 correction strategies listed on the back of the game board include; the Butterfly Hug, Negative Feeling Eraser Method, Karate Chop with Affirmation and a Stress Release Exercise. A dice and 4 pawns are included with this feelings communication game.
